Dyes from trees!

A superb day at Cambridge Art Makers learning to make dyes from trees. Absolutely superb. I asked if I could take along some silk, so added these to the dye baths.
I also discovered why my ash one hadn’t worked… it needs to be freshly felled - not one that has been lying around for months. 
There were only 3 students, and we were all called Susan!  I was ‘hat Susan’!
