Cumbrian Way

We left Bs car near the bottom of Lake Coniston and drove to Ulverston where we left Ks car. We set off about 10 and walked until about 530. So 34,700 steps and 12.1 miles later we made it. There were a few issues, a lack of signage meant we took a short detour plus on 3 occasions we flagged down cars on lanes and checked we were still on the Cumbria Way. There were also fields full of frisky cows. I was nicknamed cow girl after waving sticks at them. The scenery was wonderful and the company very entertaining. 62 miles left to go.
