Bluebells

It was a warm, hazy, sunny morning as I travelled with 2 other colleagues from the camera club to Colton Fishacre NT gardens.  We were part of a small group on a RPS gardens outing.  Once there we dispersed in all directions meeting up for lunch.

The gardens were delightful and full of colour, see extra.  We arrived just as it opened and had the luxury of wandering around more or less by oneself.   I spent some time photographing the bluebells and then slowly wandering down through the small pathways and along the stream to the coast path above the sea.  As I wandered the smell of various flowers wafted around me and a few butterflies and dragonflies were spotted.

We then met up for lunch and enjoyed a chat outside in the sun which was by now becoming fairly hot.  I took a few more photos and then went to look inside the 1920's house with its Art Deco style interiors.  It was full of beautiful objects and had a lovely style.

We returned home in the late afternoon and by now the day had become very hot.  An enjoyable outing.
