Happy Birthday Mum!

Today would have been Mum's 110th birthday.  She died in 1982.

She and my Father married in 1943 when he was in the RAF and she in the WAAF.  At the end of the War, she was demobbed and travelled out to northern Italy to join my Father, where he was AOC Northern Italy.  This portrait of her was done by a colleague of my parents when they were out there and I have always loved it.
