Catching the Light

A late afternoon walk with Pepper with the light still good but beginning to dip. 
John out most of the day with elderly friend(s) who made it home from hospital late afternoon. Considering how short of hospital beds we are supposed to be, it's amazing how much time was spent with one occupied by a non-urgent case just waiting to be 'released'.
This evening there was a pop-up pub in the village (we don't have a real pub) so we went along and caught up with folks we haven't seen for a while.
Currently the road is quiet, so I think the recent traffic calming measures have made a difference!
