Dawn chorus at Chigborough

Early rise, but well worth it.  We were treated to over 40 birds on our Merlin app including; wren, chif chaf, cuckoo, little greeb, and the less common gold crest. We also saw the heron and cormorant roost. They look very distinctive, similar to pterodactyl.

Then into town for a Maldon Coffee ... and chat. Still only 8.30 ... a perfect start to the day.

Dentist followed. Check-up - all good, but some things to consider,  moving forward.

Home to see James - he finished repainting the ceilings and made the bathrooms perfect. He is a hard worker, and a perfectionist, nothing is too much trouble. Delighted with the result.

The extra shows my car 50,000 miles clocked up today.
