Starfish Appetizers Anyone?

Today I woke up early and got a couple "dawn" photos in Donhoe Bay, the bay that is landlocked except at high tide....and by 9am it was time to leave or else spend another 12 hours. We chose to exit and head north from Desolation Sound back to Pender Harbor (before crossing back over the straights). The seas were not as quiet as before, but it was a good trip and we arrived in Hospital Bay and got a spot at the Government Dock.

That evening we walked over to our favorite little restaurant in Garden Bay, eating out on the deck, and then came back and found the "eagle" in the tree that I had been hearing that afternoon. But the crowd pleaser was the gull who was SLOWLY eating the tiny starfish. About 9ish I looked out the open door and noticed a beautiful crescent moon just above the horizon...at first I thought it was rising, but slowly noticed it was going down....a beautiful MOONSET on the water in the last light of the day....so beautiful!!!!
