I found this guy unconscious and unresponsive on Broomielaw down by the river. He was breathing but completely out of it.
Passersby were pretending they hadn't seen him, but that's just not me...I can't...my conscience won't allow it.

Rather than wait hours for an ambulance, I quickly went to Union Street and asked the wonderful people from Glasgow Street Aid, who I know from my work with the Homeless Project, to help me.

They came immediately, did some tests, checked his blood and finally managed to bring him round after about 30 minutes of gentle coaxing. He will have spent the night in their safe cubicles inside their building. They are the absolute best of the best!

I realise it is a rubbish photo but I was trying to respect his privacy whilst highlighting the work of this great charity.
