A deer day!

On our way back from walking the dogs, a young female deer ran out right in front us in the car, about a metre away. Fortunately, I was going very slowly and only had to brake gently and there was no contact.
Just a bit further on, I saw this male deer so I stopped the car and managed to take his photo before he moved away. I think his coat looks a bit “scruffy” so I guess it’s moulting getting ready for his summer one. Whatever, he’s still a beauty I think.
