Scenic nest building Coot

Hasn’t she chosen a wonderful place to bring her little ones into the world?  Usually they are hidden away in reeds. I have to say this is probably the most colour I have seen all day. It has been so grey here. However I had a wonderful lunch out with one of my walking friends.
