In the orchard

A full day in the garden. We have a very steep bank that separates the orchard from the house and the main garden. My latest project is to remove all the creeping buttercup and rough grass on the bank and plant it up with a winter hardy bee-friendly ground cover, perhaps Bugle or Hypericum. I've made a start, although working on a forty-five degree slope was quite tricky.
