Stopped in our tracks
Yet another huge casualty of the big storm (Eowyn in late January) that hasn't been cleared yet. Admittedly this is a very quiet, overgrown path in the forest at Balmaha. As you can see, Mindi was all for climbing over the tree trunk and continuing down the track, but I opted to turn back.
Lovely to be back in Balmaha on such a sunny day. The place was hoaching with visitors, West Highland Way walkers and Conic Hill climbers, with the local pub and coffee shop doing a roaring trade. Tomorrow, being a public holiday, will no doubt be the same.
Extra 1 - I'm lucky to have the luxury of Mindi's beautiful, peaceful garden, away from the crowds
Extra 2 - Mindi and her eyelashes.
Extra 3 - last night's birthday cake. There was a piece left over for me to have today :-)
