Family treasure

MBE for presented to C’s Great Grandfather for services to the railway.

We visited C’s mum today who’s doing fabulously well with her new hip and looking forward to getting the other one replaced soon. We caught up on family news and played some monopoly deal, then she showed us some of the things in her box of treasures. I was most interested in the MBE whilst H enjoyed looking at a selection of old coins. He thought pound notes were a great idea but half pennies pointless.
