May The Fourth...

... be with you! Yes, if you’ve seen Star Wars you know what I mean. It's been a while since I saw them but I still am a fan. Hope you enjoyed the day.

Little Man and I had church this morning. Little Man was tired and grumpy, so I spent a lot of the service with him. The speaker in the kids room wasn't working, so I'm planning to watch it when it gets uploaded later. We went to the supermarket straight afterwards as I needed to get a few things (I want to postpone getting a delivery). The supermarket has the kids sized trolleys, so I put the carrier bag into the trolley and Little Man pushed it around the supermarket for me. It kept him entertained!

We came home and just relaxed. It's a lot cooler today than it has been this week, we even had rain this morning. So we stayed inside, with Little Man having a special treat. I let him watch a few programs on Netflix. We then had fish and chips for dinner.

I had to take a photo of the fields across the load from our home. Over the last week or so the local farmers have been mowing their grass fields. They mowed the field on the left of the photo on Thursday, whilst Little Man was watching. I think they'll be mowing the other field soon.

I posted on Wednesday that my ex-husband's granddad was on end of life care, and wasn't expected to live long. I got a call from Little Man's Nannie to let me know that he'd passed away yesterday afternoon. It was expected but it's so sad to lose him.
