West Highland Way -Day 3

We spent all day walking north along the east bank of Loch Lomond from Rowardenan to the head of the loch. Again we’ve been blessed with fantastic conditions. There’s a very multinational bunch of walkers on the walk (with lots of Americans) and at times it feels like we are the only folk from the UK. The walking at times was quite tough - the path along the loch is at times very rocky and scrambly - but we took our time and managed the stretch in around 7 hours. We are staying tonight in Ardlui so caught the wee ferry across to the west side of the loch your hotel. The ferry will take us back to our starting point tomorrow. K
