Blossom
I had a quiet morning. A few of the usual chores were done, then I popped out to the supermarket, taking a ‘scenic’ route, which did include a walk by the river and a look around St Mary’s Pleasance.
BB had appeared home by the time I got back home. I made lunch, and made him a sandwich to take with him. He wasn’t very interested in the other stuff I had got him, but did take a packet of chocolate biscuits. He then headed off to his club’s annual rugby 7s tournament.
BB’s team wasn’t playing until 3pm, so we wandered down in time for that. I wasn’t sure about the weather, so took a coat, a scarf and gloves with me. I didn’t need to put any of them on, but I was close a couple of times.
BB’s team played well and got to the semi finals, but they were up against a much better team, so they went out at that stage. The final was a draw at full time, so went to extra time. A good afternoon of rugby.
We stopped by the supermarket on the way home, came home and made a quick and easy tea, then watched some rubbish TV. We were both weary, so didn’t have the energy for anything that required any thought.
BB went back to Glasgow tonight, as far as we are aware.
I didn’t take any pictures at the rugby, and very few all day, apart from this lovely blossom this morning. It’s been a good year for blossom, it’s hung around for quite a while.
