Boom

It was Mother’s Day in Spain today. I tried my best to get another pressie out of son no 1 (Dan) but he was having none of it! He did however come to Mass with me, Mr P and his partner Sinéad (a rare occurrence for him). After Mass we all went back to ours for brunch and then we had a wander around the main squares before going to the Mother’s Day Mascletá . Dan and Sinéad had to go off to meet friends later in the afternoon, so Mr P and I had a paella meal at a local restaurant (good but pricey). In the evening I left him painting in the flat and went out to the Parque Central to an outdoor concert.
