Bat ear
We had a Monday Saturday. Husband did his calving rounds then we built some mini polytunnels over two of the raised beds for tomato plants and popped them out. Then husband went to do his lunchtime checks and his quad bike broke down so I towed him back to our yard and we headed down to the ranch to get another one. Once back he went back to checking and the tow hitch broke off this second bike so he couldn't use the calf trailer which he uses to get the cow and their calf into the has calved field. This meant we headed down together later and I moved the last of the cows on foot with Callan, Bud and Dris to the field we want them in while husband got the third and last bike to use for his calving rounds. The dogs did great moving the cattle and nice to have them altogether in one field again. Easier for checking etc. It was a later dinner then baths and bed seemed like a long day!
Picture is Dris ears on the bike.
