Treats

I'm buying bunches of asparagus whenever I see them at the moment, since they're local - well, same island anyway. D renewed our asparagus bed and had to move several of the crowns - most of them have survived, but they're just doing spindly growth this year (a bit like they do when first planted). Love the stuff, though.

The thing on the left is a kuku pattie from Planet Kuku - garden pea variety, stuffed with garden peas and extremely tasty. D can't eat them unfortunately since they're held together with chickpea water, so they're an occasional treat for me when he's offshore.
