Maiden Castle Dorset

I have driven past this Roman hill fort more times than I care to count, and today the light was good, some good strong clouds, so I found my way to the car park and walked up there with my camera.
I am so glad I did, I love the long blonde grass at this time of year, it takes me back to my days photographing Roundway Down, Near Devizes, and Barbary Castle, Avebury etc in the beautiful County of Wiltshire, where I became addicted to our landscape.
