I never did learn his name

When I arrived at the community social event at the chapel yesterday this man was singing a Spanish love song.  I genuinely thought he was Spanish until he spoke with a fairly broad South Yorkshire accent.  It was a lovely hour, we listened, we joined in the chorus of a number of well known songs and I had a lovely time.  Apparently he’d seen the poster outside the chapel on one of his walks around the district and had decided that he’d call in to some of the venues that advertise outside, like our does.  He was a very good guitarist too.  A lovely way to spend part of a morning.

For anyone that thinks they’d like to join us, it’s the first Sunday in the month starting at 10.30 but with flexibility of arrival time.

My thanks to the members of the congregation for their hard work and for putting it on each month.
