Seedlings
I spent most of the day shopping for a dress for the wedding this summer, and it’s really sad to see the poor state of the high street and shopping centre of my largest local town. There’s not much choice any more as so many shops have gone under, leaving lots of empty stores and a lot less choice. It’s possibly ok if you’re younger as there seems to be more options for that age group, but even John Lewis didn’t have the range of concessions that I remember from the past. It’s a shame what’s happened due to online shopping but we’ve only got ourselves to blame, I guess.
Anyway, I did find a dress which I’m really pleased with, so at least it worked out ok in the end. It was exhausting though, maybe as much mentally as physically!
Flopped when I got home, then had a curry from the freezer for dinner, then Paul and I played another session of Blue Prince on the Xbox - what a great puzzle game this is turning out to be!
