Freedom Day

On the 4th of May we remember our dead. On the 5th of May we celebrate the fact that we are so lucky to live in freedom. Which is not a given. It's something to cherish. And it begins at home. Being kind to each other. So each can have his/her personal freedom to live their life as they see fit. 

This year we celebrate 80 years of freedom. Once every 5 years the 5th of May is a national holiday. It is today. So no work for me. In freedom I went for two small walks, each about 2,5 km. Through little patches of nature reserve. In the first one I saw lots of these little flowers, water violet. I was thrilled to see those so they had to be my blip today.
