Flight Lesson

This young Thrush was enjoying a peaceful afternoon on its own among the roses until disturbed by the sound of the mower. Then a Tom & Jerry scene ensued as the bird too young to fly scampered across the lawn hopping and stopping occasionally before escaping to sanctuary under a shrub and was seen no more. Expect the mother bird would be observing from a safe distance. Hope they are now reunited.
