Picnic in the Park

Our u3a social secretary organised an informal get together in the local park for a picnic/ bank holiday meet up to commemorate VE Day. One of our members a local musician,” Dutch”, came and played tunes on his saxophone from the era. Only 25 or so popped by but it was dry and the sun came out and everyone seemed to have fun so I’ll take that as a win!
