Flying In

With the bursting open of the flag iris buds the bees are out.
I think this is a carder bee with it's ginger coat.

A very indignant mallard who had been hoping for a swim in the pond in the Extra, which I found on the terrace when I returned from the dog walk round Ripple Lake.
