Allotment time

I managed to get to the allotment and finally planted the potatoes. It's been along time coming but they are in. They're main crop so I don't think it's too late. 
Other things are starting to grow. Lots of rhubarb and looks like there'll be a good crop of blackcurrants. Will need to get them netted before the birds get to them. 

Before the allotment lunch with Dad and the rest for my birthday. It was a quiet affair. Elizabeth in hospital with severe tonsillitis, Aletheia just back from France visiting Miriam who doesn't sound in a good way at all. Really not sure how much longer she will be around for. At one point Aletheia thought years but that is quickly reducing and Miriam seems to be talking more about months. It's so awful. 

Yoga later and an early night I think.
