Forest Trails

Mrs BB went swimming this morning, and not long after getting home we set off from home about 1pm to Gorsty Knoll, near Coleford (Glocs, UK) with friends to cycle the Forest Trails.

Three miles after starting we stopped at Dean Forest Cycles (see extra) at Park End, nr Coleford, for coffee and a chat for an hour.

We continued on the Colliers Trail towards Cinderford and the main photo' is of friend Archie at Dilke Bridge there. We stopped at Cannop Ponds before getting back to our cars near 5pm, and a good 19 miles covered.

A lovely Bank Holiday Monday but a bit chilly out of the sun. It was nice to get out in stunning scenery watching the dappled light changing on the paths and lighting the woodland.
