The Next Chapter!

The wee one had a better nights sleep, he fell asleep again about 8pm and was still out for the count when the 6am alarm he’d set on his tablet went off! Of course I’d no idea how to switch the darned thing off as it’s an Android machine and I could only snooze it so it went off again 5 minutes later! I did manage to snooze it for an hour the second time and convinced him to go back to sleep, which he did thankfully. We were both awake just after 7 and he played on said tablet for an hour…checking out Google maps and making videos (including one of me on the loo!!!). It took me awhile to work out how but I did manage to delete the offending snippets!

I took him to Zumba with me mid morning…which proved to be a bad move as he ended up sitting on my knee for the whole class. I realised why later, I’d told him we got a cuppa and biscuits and he’d expected the biscuits when he got there and worked himself into a right lather when I offered him a chocolate brioche I’d taken with me when he said he was hungry…now if only he’d asked for a biscuit instead of crying his little heart out!!

The boys met us just as we were heading to the park after class and we’re taking him out for the afternoon…I’d just sat down after tidying up to enjoy a quiet afternoon when I got a message from L to say she was on her way! I’d forgotten she was coming so we ended up going to the recently opened cafe on the prom for a late lunch, then had a walk before a quick trip to M&S to get some supplies for tea. By this time the weather was glorious so I had an hour or so in the garden…built and installed an obelisk to keep my giant lily’s upright and train a clematis; watered all the pots then just sat and enjoyed the late afternoon sun. I still need to water the pots at the front of the house but that’s all I’m doing tonight.

My blip was found in the window of cafe, I thought it suited the vintage theme. Thanks to DanMac21 for hosting this month.
