Rhododendrons

A trip to Knightshayes - another lovely National Trust place - today.
The rhododendrons were in fine fettle - so many different colours, ranging from the very pale lemony white to the white white to the bright yellow and brighter orange.  There were reds in varying colours, pinks too.  So much variety it was hard not to keep snapping away.
There was a spiteful wind today so we needed our jackets but it did at least remain dry, thankfully.
We drove home over Exmoor and apart from a few ponies saw nothing else....
