DS. - Bevrijdingsdag - Liberation Day !!!

Backblip for DS.

Today is Liberation Day in the Netherlands. WW ‘40-‘45. 80 years of freedom.
Throughout the Netherlands there are many liberation festivals on May 5 and in Amsterdam there is now a big Liberation concert on the Amstel in the evening.
Our King Willem Alexander and Queen Maxima are also present.
And some other dignitaries. .
On and along the Amstel where the liberation concert is held, visitors are standing along the side and on the bridge. You mainly see many people who are present with boats. "they often have the best spot". hihi.
We haven't been anywhere because the festivals are more for young people.
Many pop groups perform there. "that's not for us" haha. We do watch the concert on TV. lol. Nice and warm with coffee and something tasty.
The program is very nice and varied.
