Casting clouts!

Well the may is out but I’m not casting anything just yet!!!!
A pleasant morning looking at many unusual plants at a plant fair at Chasewarer.
I was very restrained and came away with only two.

Really wanted to walk in a bluebell wood so after coffee at Forage at the Fog and Olive in Middleton we went for a walk at the RSPB reserve Middleton Lakes.
What a delight.. especially the booming bittern!
The usual woodland songbirds, wetland birds, fluffy young moor hens and as much wild garlic as you can see in one day!
All in all a very relaxing day surrounded by the beauty of nature ..
