A last glimpse of Gloucestershire
...at least for the time being. All being well, we'll be back in Cheltenham for next year's Jazz Festival. Just one act on our last day - a 1pm visit to the sounds of Havana with the Buena Vista Social Club, who were in great form. Lots of salsa-ing in the aisles. The blip was talen from the car park at a place called Dunkertons on the way out of Cheltenham. It was one of the Festival venues and we heard so many recommendations to visit that we felt we had to do so on our way home. It was quite something. Inside a huge marquee type structure there was a cider maker (Dunkertons), loads of street food stalls (we had some very tasty Indian dishes), an artisan bakery and deli, and lots of cider - and ale - on sale. The place was pretty full and the whole experience was accompanied by great music tracks. No live performances were taking place when we were there but it was obvious what a good live music venue it would be. The extra is an interior shot but it does not really convey the size of the place. We have now joined the chorus of advocates for a trip to Dunkertons.
