Contrast

A day of getting drenched (twice) then a late afternoon of beautiful sunshine.

Only in this country, and more especially Manchester, would a chap head out on an August day in shorts and carrying an umbrella.

But at least the evening was warm for a lovely walk with Jack, meeting only the nice people with lovely dogs, even the floozy Emily who flirts with Jack constantly.
