Fallen egg

I saw this egg on the patio when I took the coffee grounds to the compost. It appears to be a house sparrow's. There appears to be some of the inside goo behind it, so this had not hatched.

Another strong storm came this afternoon and night, so the egg might be gone by now. I'm glad I captured it.
