Church flowers

A rather breezy and cloudy day, although the sun is now peeking through! back to wearing layers again though as it's turned chilly!

Had some parcels to send off at the post office this morning and then went for a quick wander at the nature reserve which was super quiet this morning - had a cuckoo fly over my head and watched lots of swallows flying around.  What wasn't pleasant to see was a dead foal that had been dumped near to the entrance of the reserve - I seriously despise the kind of people who could even think of doing such a thing.  I reported it to the local council and others had done the same yesterday.

Walked back via St Margaret's Church which had a lovely floral display by their door.  They had to close for a few months after some serious vandalism back in November -  news article - but they recently opened for a service again. Locals have raised money too for CCTV so hopefully it won't happen again - always the minority spoiling it for everyone else.

Also bumped into a friend at the local horticultural hut so we had a nice natter as we walked back - I may have purchased some fuchsias!
