Jungle Cats

The garden is turning into a wilderness, and the cats love it.

Actually, I should have blipped these two several days ago, because they have turned five years old during the last weekend (they were rescued as kittens, so we don’t know their exact birthday). Anyway, they will get tuna tonight as a belated birthday treat.

I could/should also have blipped our (much older) Munni-cat today, because she had quite an ordeal at the vet‘s. We went there for her regular check up. She has lost weight again, and her blood pressure has gone up (hopefully just due to the long wait in a room full of big, barking dogs). Then the vet had troubles getting enough blood from her for the lab, took ages poking around in her veins, and didn’t patch her up properly. I arrived at home with a still bleeding cat, more medication to help her eat more, and considerably less money. She is now asleep in a safe space, and will be blipped on another day - perhaps when we get the results of her bloodwork tomorrow or on Thursday.
