Tuesday

As Hetty and I left this morning, we could hear deafening emergency vehicle sirens.

As I crossed the top of Caen Hill, it was apparent that an accident had very recently happened.

It looked very serious indeed. The road was closed until about 4pm. It looked like a head on crash to me. Clearly someone needed to be cut from their vehicle.

Truly hope that all involved make full recoveries.

It got very warm this afternoon. I stripped down to harem pants and a vest top to garden. Clive said it looked like was attending a festival.

I picked loads of Rhubarb and made rhubarb cordial to mix with sparkling water. Florence loves cawston press Rhubarb and she's probably coming here this weekend so I know she'll enjoy it.

The leftover rhubarb pulp is delicious. I think it'll be good in yoghurt or ice-cream.

The photo shows cacti that I've been gifted.

The tall one was left at one of Jane's rentals so Jane left it with me along with several other plants.

The smaller, but still fairly large, came from Nigel. He inherited a cactus from mum and it's recently started reproducing after about 40 years!
