More work carried out today on diesel loco No.7 including work on the air system to allow the air system for the brakes and gear change to be initially pressurised by the locomotive shed compressor rather than the compressor on the locomotive. The main advantage of this is that it reduces the time the loco has to stand in the shed with its engine running before it can operate.
