The Common Wood Pigeon

Lots of them here on the Farm where we're staying, I have seen loads of them, the males displaying and the ladies feigning headaches! My Merlin app confirmed that  together with Magpie, Jackdaw, Blackbird, Goldfinch, Crow and another Cuckoo have all been singing.

At last, Mr HB had a very good night, mine wasn't bad either, and he seems quite alot better this morning.  We had to be up nice and early for me to take him for a check up at the eye hospital in Shrewsbury. So pleased that after all  the tests  his eye is now clear and with no  lasting damage but with just the natural healing process to endure.

The sun has come out again here so once  back at our caravan site we got the chairs out and had a lovely restful late afternoon. 

Message from our painters to say they have finished their work- they say it's different but very fresh??  Oh gosh, I wonder what that means? I'll tell you tomorrow....
