Tomorrow I give a seminar, I don't like preparing new slides so late, but this morning I made a lot of progress so was relaxed when I went into work at lunchtime. The bus was packed, so I didn't eat my Gregg's. Thanks to the lovely weather, there was a vibe as I arrived on the campus, but I headed to the office to eat. We were soon six in the single-occupancy office, which was a bit much, but it fostered some immediate interactions when I was chatting with "the kids" - being my two French interns and my younger PhD student Y. It was so healthy, and it will be great as/when we have our bigger office.
Once there were no more reasons to stay, I left for home - reducing the overpopulation of the office - and added some more slides. Since A was out, I walked Django, bumping into Hodge in Cornbank , and then walking back down with him. Now to write some more slides...
