Backblip (needed the laptop to see properly what i wanted to blip)
After a good night's sleep (well wrapped up against the cold) we woke to being not too sore or achey so carried out our original plan, a trip to Leighton Moss RSPB reserve.
Lots of birds seen and/or heard (40+) but sadly we didn't see a Bittern, Water Rail or Reed Warbler - though heard all three. We did see and hear Cetti's Warblers and in the extras are Little Egret, Marsh Harrier and Knot. I was quite pleased with the pics seeing as the longest lens I had was a 200mm.
We walked about 5 miles, but they took us more than half the day!
The tarn in yesterday's blip is the delightfully named Skeggles Water.
