Had to wait for workmen again 9 - 5, luckily they arrived at 1-ish so we had plenty of the day left for a trip to the Botanics on the no 27 bus. Think it was the warmest day yet. There were a couple of broods of Coot chick's in the pond, never saw any heron or kingfisher today though. Wonderful colourful displays of blossoms and flowers and leaves everywhere. A really nice trip for Donald and I.
