Surprise!

It took me completely by surprise, and lovely it was too.

I was told that the colour scheme with a lot of gold was because of me reaching my “golden years”.

I guess when you are in your early to mid 20’s, 65 seems positively ancient.

The box of goodies included some sweet and savoury snacks, together with a pair of slippers that will be nice and cozy when winter finally arrives. And, I will try hard not to kill off the beautiful orchid.
