My work day in the charity shop and Nina was very grateful for us volunteers - she calls us her Vollys... not something I've ever been called before. The stocktake was wrong in several shops and needed to be redone. Today. I stayed a while longer than usual, and Ben stayed on after that. I hope Nina got it all done without staying too late.

This evening has been devoted to a club committee meeting in Burton on Trent, my first drive in the dark on the way home, so after I managed a perfect reverse park, first try, I looked up Lights in the car manual. I knew they were already set to automatic but needed wanted to know all the settings.

One of the items on the agenda was the Club Awards and what to do with them, as they haven't been awarded for some years before I joined. We're not going to use them again but a couple were taken home by members who'd won them in the past. I took the Ice Climbing award because no-one else wanted it, and I thought I'd put it in the garden somewhere. It chimes in the wind... I hope!
