Golden Birch

It has been a very windy day today, but not too cold.  +10C to +14C.,

This morning we went to the local nursery to buy some pot plants - African Violets.  They are quite hard to keep alive, but we will give it a go!  On the way home I stopped by the lake to get a photo.  Most of the autumn leaves are gone, but some are clinging on, like these Golden Birch leaves.  We have rain in the forecast.  Even though it is quite warm, we have got the fire going, which makes the room cosy and warm.
