Shotover River . . .

………………….. heading into the Shotover Gorge, under the Edith Cavell Bridge.

I was heading back home from Queenstown this morning and took a detour down to the Shotover - seeing this scene while down there. It’s a dramatic spot for visitors to ride in a Shotover Jetboat.

There’s a ring around the moon this evening, reminding me of the saying ‘Ring around the moon, Rain or Snow coming soon’. There’s actually both snow and rain mentioned in the forecast for the next couple of days.
