Special night

Today was like a dream. I booked an extra day off for Easter and spent it with my littlest nephew and my Dad doing some of my nephew’s favourite things, picnic and footy in the park and hanging at Grandad’s. A lovely day. Then Dad and I joined my bro and niece for a real treat, to watch Villa play Man City in the Etihad’s finest hospitality thanks to an incredibly generous gesture from a very thoughtful and kindhearted person. As my Dad has been having it a bit tough lately the biggest surprise came when he was invited onto the pitch at kick off to have his photograph taken with Kevin De Bruyne and more excitingly for us, Emi Martinez! What a memory! Had an absolutely glorious time until an injury time goal conceded sent me crashing back down to earth with a thump! So grateful for such a special night and memory though.
