The Mighty Nepean

For our photogroup meeting today we went on excursion to the Mighty Nepean, which organiser Tom likes to call the river at Penrith, an outer Sydney suburb an hour east of Blackheath.
It was a lovely day for a stroll along the bank and morning tea at the Rowers Club.
For Bob's wide challenge of "three", the bridge has three sets of pilons. In the picture anyway.

This evening it was off to Elizabeth's school play. She had the main role and her boyfriend was the male lead. They were both brilliant.
The play was Deborah Oswald's "Stories in the Dark", a confronting tale of two teenagers trapped in a war zone.
