...let me ride away. I couldn't get the theme tune to this tv programme out of my head after seeing this girl on Bamburgh beach. What a playground for them both.

The girl and boy went home today. We were lucky to have them all for so long. As Kevin Costner says, if you build it, they will come!

We wandered along the beach, visited Carter's butchers, and had coffee in the Walled Garden.

The two girls enjoyed the treat of a massage this morning. A new experience for Yuri who is used to a Thai massage. I have just enjoyed a pedicure. I'm not a fan of those other treatments, but I do love having my feet made pretty. I am generally known as the family hobbit.
